Take a few minutes to watch a scene from the New Chamber Ballet, choreorgraphed by Miro Magliore and read about his work as a composer and now choreographer:

"If there is a rule book for becoming a ballet choreographer, Mr. Magloire is not following it." -From The New York Times

Have you seen Rize?  No?  Rent it today!

"Rize is an intimate completely fresh portrayal of inner city youth who have created art and often family - where before there was none. Surrounded by drug addiction gangs and impoverishment they have developed a completely unique style of dance that evolves on a daily basis. Through tremendous spirit and creativity they manage to rise above."  -Amazon.com

Dance Fever

flashdance-splsh.jpg

[Remember when Flashdance was all that?]

I am sure these two YouTube videos barely scratch the surface of dance videos that make you want to give John Travolta a run for his money, but they are two of my favorites:

House Dance LA:  I hope I come across these guys someday

Soulja Boy:  This kid feels the passion!

Thriller:  In a Filipino prison?  These guys have talent!
