Wrap Up Africa

The Wrap Up Africa website is now officially up and running, so head on over there, treat yourself to one of their gorgeous skirts from the WUA Etsy shop and help make a difference.  Read Boho's blog entry about Wrap Up Africa to get the whole story.  I am incredibly proud to have been able to help in the tiniest way to get them off the ground.  This is an amazing story and you can follow it every step of the way on the Wrap Up Africa blog too.  Help spread the word!!

From the WUA website:

"Everyone has the power to make a difference, and you can make one with your consumer dollar choices. When you buy a Wrap Up Africa skirt, you directly help save a life in Uganda. Not only will you look great in our skirt, but you’ll feel great whenever you wear it!

We love clothes. We love how they can express individuality and spirit. But as globalization makes our cultures more homogenous, mass-produced and uniform clothing options are replacing individual expression. And the end result is that we're all beginning to look alike.

Wrap Up Africa skirts provide an alternative. Each skirt is made in Africa and each is unique. But what is as equally special as the skirts we sell is the opportunity you have to directly help a family in need with your purchase. We hope you will delight in owning this unique item."
