What it brings to mind is that every effort made..every risk taken..every attempt to try something new - is a success. There is no failure in any of that.
It is in doing 'nothing'..in not taking risks..in not daring to follow your heart and your dreams - that 'fails'.
i love the idea behind the phrase "nothing fails." it implies action... to try and to succeed is wonderful but if we allow ourselves the room to try and to be ok with not succeeding we can often use that "failure" as a catapult to something even greater, something we most likely could not have even imagined. there is always something to gain if we simply try.
christine, i am looking forward to diving into your new book.
I love reading all of your inspriational quotes in your artwork and on your website. I think "Nothing Fails" is a simple reminder that every action has a purpose.
I would love to be entered for the giveaway as I need to hear these words often at this point in my life.
The beauty in the imperfections and the joys in trying - even if you fall flat on your face. You still succeed in the experience.
This looks awesome! Count me in please.
Thanks!
Cheryl
I love to be reminded of this...I sometimes think I've failed when something doesn't turn out the way I'd envisioned...but I'm getting better at trying something else and not dwelling on the faux failure. Thank you for this website....I love all the goodness you share!
I love the duplicity that comes from reading this...the idea that 1) failure is doing nothing and 2) it is impossible to fail. One encourages action, the other encourages confidence or believing in oneself. How awesome is that?
This would be a great reminder to look at every day. Sometimes I feel like I've failed at the big things, but this print tells me that I can still succeed. No reason to give up. Thanks for the contest!
Thank you for reminding me I have never once failed. You inspire me. Oh, yes, you inspire me.
Love Sparkletopia! i look forward to reading your quotes and finds, and i love the print too!
I love the message that there are really no failures in life...I really needed to hear that today. Thank you for the opportunity to win a piece of your gorgeous artwork. I am a big fan!

Love this piece! And thanks for hosting this great contest!
i'd love to be entered into the contest!! beautiful piece!
I discovered you today from the Squam Art Workshops website. Your work is beautiful and truly speaks to me. Please enter me in your drawing.
I love this art. It really intrigues the part of me that believes that everything happens for a reason - even the things I don't understand. As a graphic designer, I have found that some times ideas that don't work for a particular project seem to 'magically' work later for something else. ie: Nothing Fails ... what a beautiful thought!
I wound up here because I have been faithfully reading the lovely Marianne's blog and she mentions you often! This piece inspires me because I am in the midst of some powerfully challenging times and the reminder that it is all for postive progress in the long run is such a moving one. Good luck to one and all!
Love,
D.
I love this piece, Christine. For me, it captures a battle between head and heart that's ongoing: The head says, "Of course, it's true that nothing fails," but the heart responds, "I want to believe this and can't;" the head makes note of all the times in life that show everything happens for a reason, but the heart has a short-term memory; it always demands more proof. For me, the piece represents those brief, hard-won moments when the head and heart have synced up, what sweet relief they are! It's like a note from the heart to itself, for the future, a reminder that it's okay to believe everything will work out in the end.
stopping by via the lovely leah at creative everyday... your print reminds me of some inspiring grafitti left behind in an abandoned house. Wondering what it brings up for other people.
It is stunning!
What a lovely message - well put!
Christine, I have been reading your heartfelt writings here and on Swirlygirl for quite some time. Your words, photos and travels have been an inspiration to me while searching for my own dreams. Thank you for your openness and willingness to share your work as well as the workings of your heart. This print is a lovely reminder to always strive for your dreams, and that even failing is never absolute - it has its own lessons and rewards.
