Not Just a Pretty Face

Lee Miller started out as a Vogue cover model but then went on to become "a remarkable Surrealist photographer and war correspondent" [Vanity Fair, January 2008]. An exhibit of her work opens January 26 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. I wish I could go!

Wow, that is quite a photo! I love that she moved from in front of the camera to behind and doing surreal stuff, too... very cool. Wish we could go, but we are so far from Philly at the moment... Wonder if it will travel out west here all? Thanks for posting it here, Christine!
